Josh and Ana hired me to plan their wedding to assist with the challenge of planning a wedding from 2 different states. With the groom in Baltimore and the bride in Boston right up until their big day, they knew planning the event would be an organizational challenge. They brought me on to bridge the gap and make magic with their vision.
The wedding took place on a crisp November day, on a beautiful farm in Lewes, Delaware. The bride had always envisioned a farm-style wedding, while the groom was partial to waterfront views. To make both of these dreams come true, we hosted the ceremony at the historic Covered Bridge Inn farm and the reception at the waterfront Lewes Yacht Club. It was my privilege to incorporate special touches to match the wintery season, like the bride’s luxurious fur stole.
Originally from Brazil, the bride mentioned that she was missing the warm weather and wished she could have had sunflowers at her wedding. The groom contacted me privately to make that happen. Sourcing sunflowers in the winter was a task well worth the effort when I saw her surprised and happy tears the the morning of her wedding day.
